Referrals
to Non-Educational Services
If
the child is found not to be eligible for
services or
the parents choose not to pursue services through the
MDT process, the Services Coordinator
continues to provide the family with referrals to other
agencies/supports according to the family's needs.
A
change in the child's status may prompt a subsequent
referral to the IFSP process. If the family is eligible
for early intervention services
but chooses not to participate, they may later request
and be eligible for such assistance.
